Schools Cup

Schools Cup returns in 2020 for it’s seventh season with a single day round-robin football tournament held over Terms 2 and 3 of the NSW school year. The event aims to provide and encourage football participation in a safe and supportive environment. This event can compliment football participation in your school and will support all levels of football ability from beginners to representative players.

The Schools Cup is a fun-filled gala day exclusive for schools in Western Sydney. The main outcome of the day is to get students active and playing football in a healthy competition, whilst embracing sportsmanship, inclusion and social interaction.

PLEASE NOTE DUE TO THE COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, DATES WILL BE REVISED IN THE COMING MONTHS. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED FOR ONE OF THE DATES BELOW, A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE CLUB WILL BE IN TOUCH WITH YOU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WITH MORE DETAILS.

REGISTRATIONS

Schools Cup registrations are now open! To enter the 2020 competition please complete the form below to ensure your school doesn’t miss out.

ENTRY FEE $160 per team (cover event cost)

  • Schools can enter up to two teams per division – each team will play a minimum of 3 x 25 minute games.
  • Divisions are split by gender in secondary & primary competition.
    • Boys Year 7/8 – 11v11 Full Field
    • Girls Year 7/8 – 11v11 Full Field
    • Boys Year 5/6 – 9v9 Half Field
    • Girls Year 5/6 – 9v9 Half Field
  • More detailed rules and playing format will be provided post-registration.

  • Make sure your school has this event on your planning calendar to avoid any last-minute clashes of schedule.
  • Entry fee will not be refunded for cancellations within two weeks of the competition you have entered.
  • Compete in your nominated Regional Schools Cup (all regions are open to all schools until places are filled).
  • The aim is to top your regional event to qualify for the Finals.
  • Finals will be hosted at Wanderers Centre of Football.
