Schools Cup

Schools Cup is a round-robin football tournament held over Terms 2 and 3 of the school year with the aim to encourage football participation in a safe and supportive environment. This event can compliment football participation in your school and will support all levels of football ability.

The Schools Cup is a fun-filled gala day for schools in Western Sydney. The main outcome of the day is to get students active and playing football in a healthy competition whilst embracing sportsmanship, inclusion and social interaction.


June 25th – Nepean Schools Cup – Jamison Park 

July 2nd – NWSF, Christie Park (Secondary)

July 28th – NWSF, Christie Park (Primary)

August 6th – Southern Districts – Venue TBC

August 11th – Hills – Bernie Mullane Complex

August 27th – Bankstown – Jim Ring Reserve, Birrong 

September 1st  Blacktown – Blacktown Football Park or WSWHQ

September 15th – Western NSW – Bathurst


Tuesday 27th October – Primary 

Tuesday 3rd November – Secondary 


Schools Cup Registrations are now open! To enter the competition in 2020 complete the form below to ensure your school doesn’t miss out.

ENTRY FEE $50 per team (covers referee and field hire)

  • Schools can enter up to two teams per division – each team will play a minimum of three 25 minute games.
  • Divisions are split by gender in secondary & primary competition.
    • Boys Year 7/8 – 11v11 Full Field
    • Girls Year 7/8 – 11v11 Full Field
    • Boys Year 5/6 – 9v9 Half Field
    • Girls Year 5/6 – 9v9 Half Field
  • More detailed rules and playing format will be provided post-registration.

Competition Details



  • Make sure your school has this event on your planning calendar to avoid any last-minute clashes of schedule.
  • Entry fee will not be refunded for cancellations within two weeks of the competition you have entered.
  • Compete in your nominated Regional Schools Cup (all regions are open to all schools until places are filled).
  • The aim is to top your regional event to qualify for the Finals. Finals will be hosted at a neutral venue central to all regions.
